Vos Logistics offers customer-specific logistics solutions, from international transport, groupage, value added logistics and distribution to full supply chain solutions where they take over the responsibilities from their customers for the complete flow of goods.
Being an Application Manager, it is your responsibility to set up and optimise the use of the application by configuring the system based on SOP’s, testing new releases delivered by the software supplier, solving issues in the standard software or configuration and supporting key users in getting the best out of the application.
You will work closely together with the central IT team of Vos Logistics Solutions in Oss and the various business units in The Netherlands, Belgium and Poland.
To qualify for this vacancy, you meet the following requirements:
Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written;
A bachelor or master degree;
Experience with BluJay (preferable) or other transport management solutions;
Knowledge of logistical processes and information systems;
Experience with integration (Edifact, XML) preferred;
Experience with Unix/Linux environment preferred;
Strong analytical capabilities;
A team player mentality and at the same time be able to work independently;
Enthusiasm and eagerness to learn.
